Atlantic Shipping Makes Splash at Breakbulk Middle East 2018 as Proud Bronze Sponsor
From Tuesday February 6 to Wednesday February 7, Atlantic Shipping participated in – and made a big splash at – Breakbulk Middle East 2018, the only exhibition and conference in the region for the project cargo and breakbulk industry, as a proud Bronze Sponsor. The two-day event was held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in the UAE, and welcomed more than 60 exhibitors representing the end-to-end value chain for the transport of oversized cargo.
Atlantic Shipping sent invitations to a myriad of guests, clients, friends and VIPs to join the company for a coffee table meeting, at which the topic of shipping project cargo was discussed; one of the primary focus of the meeting was on how shipping such cargo is unlike any other type, as each project is unique and moves under ever-changing conditions. Additionally, a full conference schedule wherein key industry members shared their knowledge and experiences also took place at Breakbulk Middle East, which included leaders from the likes of Fluor, Petrofac, Saudi Aramco and Technip.
Day One Highlights
On the first day of the exhibition, Atlantic Shipping welcomed a number of clients and future partners such as Captain Wu Jada of Cosco Shipping, Mr. Finn O. Roden of Hoegh Autoliners, Mr. Faiz Ahmed of Eukor Car Carries – Middle East Representative, Mr. Salaheddin Nasser of Savola Foods Saudi Arabia, Mr. Kareem Ismaill of AAL Group, and the GAC team led by Mr. Sudesh Chaturvedi.
Further, Atlantic’s Managing Director Mr. Hisham and Business Development Manager Mr. Saeed were interviewed by Ms. Effat Mostafa of Marasi News.

Day Two Highlights
Additional guests including Captain Gelassini of Messina Line, Inchcape Shipping team led by Mr. Sachin Baghdad, Transworld team led by Mr. Mannan Balasubramanian, Bahri Logistics team led by Mr. Faisal Abdullah Abahussain and Uojlll Ugdl Hu and many others were on hand for the second day of Breakbulk festivities.
Once again our Managing Director Mr. Hisham Baasher was interviewed, this time by Breakbulk Media, as was our Business Development Manager Mr. Ahmed Saeed.
The event, as a whole, was a tremendous success, with the Atlantic Shipping team being commended for doing such a fantastic job.

What’s more, Atlantic Shipping is planning on inviting everyone back to Breakbulk Europe in May of this year, scheduled to take place May 29 to 31 in Bremen, Germany.
